Tuesday, April 29, 2008

New Bedford, MA (March 15, 2008)—Cornell Dubilier has introduced two new snap-in aluminum electrolytic capacitor types: Type SLPX for operation from –40 to 85 °C and Type SLP, –40 to 105 °C. “These new snap mount products offer a winning combination of performance and pricing needed in today’s marketplace”, says Jim Navarro, Product Manager at Cornell Dubilier. The new SLPX and SLP are available now and targeted for application in next-generation power supplies and inverters including DC filtering, switching power supply, and motor drive applications. Over 400 ratings are available; all with 3000 hour load and ripple life-test capability.

Type SLPX (85 °C) and SLP (105 °C) are available in diameters from 22 mm to 35 mm, and in lengths ranging from 25 mm to 50 mm. Catalogued capacitance values range from 56 µF to 68,000 µF; voltage ranges from 10 to 250 Vdc with special ratings available. OEM pricing starts at $0.37 each for 1000 piece quantities. Parts are available from stock or up to 8 weeks after receipt of order.
