The J84-2800 combines a unique "CLEAN" key that temporarily disables the keyboard during cleaning with a thoroughly washable / submersible housing. The keyboard design eliminates all cracks and crevices where germs can hide during a typical cleaning operation, and it has been tested for resistance against submersion and typical hospital cleaning agents. Washable Backlit Keyboard
Cherry's new J84-2120 keyboard is available with 8 levels of backlighting, making it suitable for applications in all levels of ambient light. Its silicone rubber keytops and integrated pointing device are water-tight and dustproof to NEMA-4. Its compact, rugged design make it perfect for applications in vehicles, process control and medical diagnostic equipment. Like the J84-2800, it's equipped with "CLEAN" key so that it can be quickly and reliably cleaned without the need to power down / power up the PC.

Cherry's brand-new splash-proof J84-4300 low-profile keyboard is rated to IP55 for water and dust resistance yet has the fast typing action of a laptop keyboard and an integrated silicone rubber pointing device for enhanced cleanability. This very competitively priced product is suitable for applications with frequent cleaning by antibacterial wipes or sprays. At just 14.5 inches wide, 5.5 inches deep and .75 inches high, it fits even the most compact trays and desktops.
