The TwinChip Axial series provides overvoltage protection for broadband CPE equipment such as IP phones, DSL modems and VoIP terminal equipment requiring low capacitance devices and regulatory compliance to TIA-986-A and/or ITU K.21.
The TwinChip SIDACtor design provides a stable off-state capacitance of less than 20pF which minimizes the chance of signal distortion. The TwinChip Axial series has superior overshoot performance and unlimited surge life as compared to GDT and Spark Gap devices. Packaged in a DO-15, it is ideal for many broadband CPE applications.
